Decorative edge

IMG_1536 IMG_1537 IMG_1538 IMG_1536_text

Father’s day is coming up in Norway and here is a card for my father. He usually does not visit my blog, so hopefully he won’t see it ahead of time. ;-)  I am publishing it already now in order to contribute to the Kazan's sketch 62 challenge. The challenge was to make a card with a decorative edge.

The decorative edge was cut using a Cricut cartridge on Core’dinations cardstock. A vertical border was dry embossed. Then the cardstock was sanded to show more of the blue core of the paper.

The sentiments was written with a brush marker and outlined in black. ‘Pappa’ means ‘daddy’ in Norwegian. The sentiment inside the card says ‘Have a great father’s day. Hugs, your daughter’. :-)
